31 Days of Wisdom-The Starting Line
31 Days of Wisdom, day 1, Proverbs 1. In this video we kickoff our 31 days of wisdom where we read 1 chapter of Proverbs daily for the next 31 days. We can take a look around and we know that the world is in need of a lot of different things but one thing it is definitely in need of is.....WISDOM. Proverbs was written primarily by King Solomon with a few other contributors but the word Proverb in Hebrew has two meanings. The first is what we typically think of when we think of a proverb- a parable or wise saying, but the other definition of the Hebrew word for proverb is a homonym meaning- to rule or to reign or to take dominion. In verse 7 it states that the very beginning, the starting point, the starting line of gaining wisdom is the awe and reverential awe of THE LORD (fear). Oswald Chambers said the remarkable thing about fearing God is that when you fear God, you fear nothing else, whereas if you do not fear God, you fear everything else. ACTION STEP- if the fear of THE LORD is the starting point of wisdom and of blessings then our very first step is to assess our personal view of God. So when you think about God what is the first thing that comes to mind? You CAN NOT SKIP THIS STEP. š SUBSCRIBE TO CORY'S YOUTUBE CHANNEL HERE š Stay Connect: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/cory.lee.311/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/cory_lee_leadership/ Website: www.coryleeleadership.com/legacybuilders Podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/principles-with-cory-and-logan/id1500804875
