In this episode of Principles with Cory and Logan it is part 1 of our book series on the book "The Traveler's Gift" by Andy Andrews.
In this discussion we see the 1st decision for success is: THE BUCK STOPS HERE! It is the decision to take personal responsibility. It's choosing that from "this moment forward I will take personal responsibility for my past. I understand that the beginning of wisdom is to accept responsibility for my own problems and that by accepting responsibility for my past, I free myself to move into bigger, brighter future of my own choosing"
3 phrases that we as leaders no longer get to use:
-Because I say so.
-Do as I say not as I do.
-Why Me?
-According to Acts 17 you my friend were made for such a time as this.

Tyler is Pastor of Worship at Redemption Church in Arizona, an instructor at Grand Canyon University, and recently released his new album.
In this episode we discuss how as leaders we can created structured spontaneity in our leadership. In music Tyler says when you understand and learn the rules of the map that's when you can be trusted to venture off the map.
When we empower others it's not simply for us to lighten our load but it allows us to lifter heavier and go higher.
Music is a special way to usher in what God is doing. It's interesting that music is typically on the forefront and a forerunner to what God is doing and the new season He is ushering in.
